All afternoon we have had this on the television. My husband just said that some of the people who are watching tv today have no idea who John Glenn was. It certainly is making us feel a lot older than we are, even though we are up there. We watched everything that was on television when all the astronauts went to the moon.

Yes he was. He is one person that I think most everyone knows his name. We have seen some remarkable people in our lifetime. Me more than you.

I have read the news this morning. I cannot believe that many people who have read the news today never heard about John Glenn, but this is surely true.
