I got proactive this morning. It's been about three weeks since the colonoscopy and over a month since I had any medication, so I called the clinic and got a positive answer. My medication has been approved. They tried calling me on Monday, but I wasn't home and though I've checked my phone, I didn't see they had called. So tomorrow I head over to the hospital for a 4 PM appointment for my first infusion of Remidaid. I hope it works.
I also went onto Swagbucks early this morning and got all my goals inside half an hour, which I think is a record. I can also do a payout. I finally got my 5000 points I always go for, so I will have that sent to my PayPal. I don't do gift cards. I'm going to wait a little bit though as when I got my points done this morning it was 5001. I did get a code since then for a few more points, but I don't want to start from almost zero. It did take less time to get this 5000 points than in the past, but I've also started ordering online and activating my points that way as well.
So today has been a very good day. Now, my notifications are finished and I'm in the mood for a Christmas movie. I'll return later to see if there are any more notifications for me. It's been rather slow today. I think everyone is out Christmas shopping.

Do you mean Remicade?
I reached payout last month on SB and got a Walmart gift card. Had reached pay out on two others and used them on Amazon to buy my Christmas gifts. I am planning to save up enough for some more for next year. Works great! I do it this way for the same reason Sharon does.

I am so happy for you that your medication has finally been approved! I hope it works well for you! I have never been able to get swagbucks to work for me. I think it's because I don't really understand a lot about how it works and I just don't spend the time like I should. How long did it take you to reach 5000 points?

@simone10 The best thing about ordering online is that you would be spending the money for the same thing anyway, so why not get something from your shopping besides just an empty pocketbook? This way you get a certain dollar for dollar back with Swagbucks and if you like Wal-Mart as much as I do, right now it's 7 SB per dollar spent. That's a great deal. Order online, pick up in store, and you miss all the crowds too. They also just added Amazon to their cash back deals.

they're gonna do remicade?? i wish ya the best'n such, hon. they did tell ya that'cha needed someone to drive ya, eh? they give ya a purty healthy dose 'f benadryl with 't 'n that can make ya most sleepy. i hope that such works fer ya!
i aint familiar with that swagbucks schtuff, but congrats!

@crazyhorseladycx I was fine. They didn't even keep me longer than necessary. I was good to drive. It took about 2.5 hours total. They didn't get it started for almost half an hour past when it was supposed to start.

Well, I wasn't out Christmas shopping, but I did go into work early so I could partake of the luncheon they provided for us for our holiday meal. That way I could make sure I had some food in my stomach before beginning work,. and it was a good day. No problems at all.I also made seventeen cents, so someone was around here somewhere while I was at work.

I'm glad you had a good morning! I'm on SB, too, but I don't do much there. I earn a $5 gift card about once a month and that's fine--I find if I do a lot of things there besides surveys and daily polls, I get a lot of adware and spyware. I'm glad you got your medicine. Sometimes you have to depend on yourself rather than others to get what you need, people forget about you because you are one of hundreds.

I was actually not home when they called on Monday. I'm glad I've been approved and have my first infusion this afternoon. I just hope this medication works as nothing else has yet.
I have adblocker on, so I don't get all that adware or malware stuff. I don't think I did from SB.

I haven't cashed it yet, but probably today. I don't like just seeing 1 SB in the total. I'll wait until I've done the daily polls today.
