So much to be happy about

First of all, today I got a sock in the mail. It's a home made knitted Christmas stocking. I really think it was thoughtful and awesome. It came with pistachios, one of my favorite kinds of nut. Yesterday, our neighbor girl turned 18 - and LOVED the art supplies we got her, her parents, my partner, and I. My sweet partner even stretched and gessoed three canvasses for her. She was thrilled! Always before she had to use cruddy school art supplies and now she has brand new easel, brushes and paints to call her own. I sold a copy of my book to Europe and two to the UK. That's very cool. I got a letter from my grandmother letting me know she's all right. Finally, I had an idea for a saturday art feature that I can do weekly on my blog, and the first artist I approached about it said yes! His work is absolutely incredible and I want to share it with the world. It's good for him, good for me, and good for my readers. I'm really pleased about that. It's all just a big bundle of YAY!
