issues with neighbours

What do you do if you have a crazy neighbour who always come knocking at your door and saying that they heard loud noises from your place (we don't shout nor move furniture around, don't see how we can be making loud noises) and they have actually came round several times making complaints?

They could be paranoid, just tell them that you did not make any noise and ask them politely if they are on medication or what they had been smoking. Tell them in a kind manner that next time you will settle this matter in the police station with your lawyer.

They are definitely paranoid! They said that they even heard noises in the middle of the night, when I know we are definitely sleeping. We're keeping an eye on them ourselves, if they show any bizarre behaviour, we are going to make a complian against them.

@bluemoonpavilion that's right, be kind and polite but if they still insist that there is something when there is nothing then bring them to where you can settle this once and for all.

When I went past their flat (which is one floor below us) we can see something is not right. They have hoarded the whole public place and have placed a red carpet in front of their house and hang a red lantern at the entrance the whole year long (who in their right minds would that right?)

Yes, it could be that, we never know what's really behind the cement and bricks
