Well well well, I'm really impressed now. As some of you might remember I do most of my shopping for necessities online which includes pet foods and with 3 cats I now need litter more often. Usually I do a lot of comparison shopping for the pet foods because there are so many deals to be made at times and I've actually paid $10 dollars less just by doing that. With cat litter I did the same thing today. I checked my usual haunts like PetSmart and Walmart in hopes of getting a deal nada, too pricey all the way around. So I checked Sams Warehouse, ok, not bad they had a 42 lb bag of the cheap stuff for $9.97 but then they added a hefty shipping charge. so much for them. Next I checked Costco, to my surprise I got the usual litter I would have driven 50 miles to get online and no shipping charge so there's one less item I have to go out and about to shop for Now I only go out and about when I need to buy dairy and frozen foods You know, it makes a world of difference if my shopping trips don't have to be about some of these things, wouldn't you agree? Heck, I'll be able to spend more time scheduling lunch with a friend So, do you shop online? What do you shop for?

You really are a comparison shopper. I hate shopping online. I like to see what I am getting. I take it your furry ones are not fussy on the food you get them? My Sophie is not fussy. I like to go right to the pet store and see what I am getting for her.

The first time I bought the pet food and litter I went directly to the store to check it out, after that I ordered online.

I generally shop online for necessities like pasta, beans, boxed soups, laundry soap and hand soap. Other stuff I like to go to a store to find.

I buy dog food on Chew.com. 35 pound bags are a few dollars cheaper than the one and only store that sells it 30 mins. away. Living in the boonies I do more online shopping than I ever thought I would do.

I look at all the different sites especially PetSmart because I can shop through Swagbucks. I feed my furmily Blue Buffalo Wilderness grain free and have found that PetSmart is usually the cheapest even cheaper that Chewy but I check them as well just in case they're running a special. I wish Swagbucks would put all the pet food sites on their shop segment.

I wish they could do that for me @AbbyGreenhill but I live in the mid section of a fenced in half acre. Well, I have a wheelbarrow which helps me get the bags to the steps and then it's just a matter of pulling the things up the stairs. Works out pretty good for me for now. I just wonder if I'll be able to do the same when I reach my 70s. Yeah I know, I need to beef up the fish, chicken and eggs, right?

@rebelann We like the fact my husband doens't have to drag around the heavy bags...the nice Fedex man brings them right to the door.

I never shop online, but I'm only a mile from our town centre so it's no problem.

I rarely shop online. We have many stores and shops nearby. But good for you. Those litter bags are so heavy!

Kudos for you! Those 50 mile trips are rough on a person. Free shipping is a very good deal.

It's only rough if the trip was to get the things like cat litter or what not .... Now if the trip were more for fun then it was totally worth while

I love online shopping. I get almost everything except a few things that are best bought from the grocers nearby

It all depends on what I need to replace, if I'm low on pasta or beans then I'll buy online but when it's dairy or frozen foods I really have to go to the stores to get that.

We do like to get some things online. However, food comes from local growers, so we have to go out for those things.

Oh that's right, you have farmers there who grow the veggies I can't get here, well not fresh anyway. I usually only buy foods like pasta, beans and unsalted sardines online, the other stuff I'll go out to buy. I sure wish we had organic farmers in this community but I'd have to drive well over 200 miles to get to one.

'tis rare that i shop. if'n i can't find what i'm lookin' fer with a local, home-owned business, i go 'nline.

You sure wouldn't like where I live. If there's a home owned business in these parts chances are they don't speak a lot of English so I don't bother with them. Whats worse is that the store about 2 miles up from here that is supposed to be a grocery only carries the cheap junky foods, no organic food to be found.

At present, I don't do any shopping online, but I have shopped for books and for screen protectors for my tablet. I also bought a Bluetooth keyboard for my tablet and a few other things for it too. Otherwise, mainly books from Amazon or ebooks from Barnes and noble and that type of thing. I get a discount where I work for apparel and merchandise but not for food. I'm already there most days so I don't have to make an extra trip to get my shopping done. I always thought Costco was a part of Sams Club?

Nope, two different warehouses. Costco is the pricey one but well worth the trip when I need good foods.

Usually I only shop for mundane items like pinto beans, pasta, laundry soaps and stuff like that. The rest of my needs I go to the store for. Sometimes I'll make a mistake and actually buy clothes but I'm learning that if I do that I need to steer clear of Walmart.com.

I've done very little online shopping. I'm not sure if I want to try it....I like to see and feel what I'm paying for and I like to pay cash.
