Today I went with my daughter to see my two year old grandson Charlie singing in his nursery Christmas carol concert. He had been practicing for the last couple of weeks and had the first verse of Away in a Manger almost word perfect. My daughter and I felt so proud. It took me back to when she was tiny and took part in her first concert. The photo is of Charlie thoroughly enjoying himself. Kids really do make Christmas and I feel so blessed to be a gran.

Charlie looks to be having a marvellous time. Do you remember we had to attend a wedding in Surrey last September? The couple have just had a baby girl. Doesn't time go quickly?
