is U2 the best rock band

They are certainly among the best. I love their music but I also love Metallica and Iron Maiden, plus a few others. I have the Joshua Tree and The Best of U2 1980-1990. There are some great songs on there and I think Bono is a wonderful singer. He varies the tempo of his music and the content, so well.

no, im not u2 fan, i like some of their songs though, but i dont think they are the best rock band. i chose metallica

best modern act maybe , but your forgettting Pearl Jam as well and i think Queen,ACDC and Led Zep are bigger then u2

well they are definitely good.....their last tally at the Grammys last time around proved that....but they still have a long way to go if thay have to get the title of best rock band....
