Slump in Babble

Its been a few days now that I have noticed a slump in the MyLot babble . . . .
is it the Season?
The wonderful tool of internet has been instrumental in helping me find a long lost friend of 38 years.
. . . . How wonderful to get a parcel today and be able to send a written note via the FB and give thanks in an instance . . .
Having a "LIVE" photo send from Australia to SA in a flash and a moment shared immediately.
The miracle of the WEB is mind boggling and it has made our world such a smaller place.
What have you experienced this week that gives you Thanks for the internet and the tools of communication - in all forms?
Have you noticed mylot being a little slower than usual - not the site, but the babble?

Yes, it is the season that slumps our babble. The instant communication is delightful.

@Asylum YES - my Santa was getting more than myself confused - I had someone call me BARRY the other day, so I decided before someone reveals some "truths" to Barry I shall just put my own FACE up there - that can have no confusion. It was funny though

Mylot could grind to a halt and it would still be well ahead of me!

@Inlemay i'm here off/on most all hours 'f the day/night. when i start frettin' o'er the 'traffic' here, i'll definitely need to hang'p my spurs fer good.

Technology is great when used properly. It helps us to make our life more comfortable. Our loads of work become easier to do because we don't need to travel here and there just to talk to someone. We can use the technology to save time and as a result, to be more productive.

I find group chats very useful on my mobile phone, especially when we are organising some outing and have to coordinate timings, stuff to bring etc. Emails are just too lagging and not as easy as using the mobile.
I have just returned to mylot this week after a long break of several years and am still enjoying conversations with people from the other side of the globe.
