Although I am a person who is afraid of the cold weather. But I will not wear socks to sleep anyway. I prefer to soak my feet in the hot water before I go to sleep. Wearing socks to sleep is so weird and I also heard it is not good for the health. What do you think?

@youless I think it's not a western or Asian thing, I would probably have cold feet no matter what!

Things change with age. I use now socks in winter, some socks that do not pressm y circulation.

It is better that you use the socks that don't press your circulation.

You can soak your feet into the hot water and it can make your feet warm soon.

I remember my blood pressure is about 96/69. It seems it is normal but a little bit lower than many people.

@youless my husband some days is 80/50, that for a man is far too low.

@youless Yep we do. My boyfriend complains because my feet are always cold when we go to bed so I wear my fuzzy soft socks to bed to keep them warm

Yes, our feet should breathe at night but a few nights when it gets very, very cold I will wear some nice warm socks.

@youless Yes, and I also have a brain and and a body and at times my feet do get very cold and I am wise to wear socks to bed. Of course, they are clean socks.

I agree with not wearing socks to sleep as I find it very uncomfortable. I generally sleep with the minimum covers for the temperature.

Agree, soak feet in hot water for a while before sleep is conducive to our sleep and keep our body warm . I never sleep with my stockings on, it is unbearable.

Protecting the feet from extreme cold is very important even in Chinese or Oriental medicine, their belief is that nerve endings are located on the feet which in turn are connected to different organs of the body, think it is just fine provided the garters are not too tight to hamper circulation
