~In The Hospital With Pneumonia~

Good morning everyone. My sister just called a little while ago. My 18 month old niece is in the hospital with pneumonia. =( She did a video chat with me and my poor little angel was hooked up to machines and she was crying. It broke my heart. The doctors said they don't know how long she will be admitted-they might not be home in time for Christmas either. 
My sister and her family went to Virginia to visit our older sister for the weekend. They never expected all of this to happen while they were there. What was supposed to be a fun mini vacation turned into a nightmare. 
Her regular pediatrician said it was just a cold that she has-apparently not! My sister said they never would have went if they knew how sick she really was.
So, my husband said once we are all moved into the new house if their still in the hospital we will go there and see if there's anything we can do. They might need us to watch their 2 older kiddo's.
Please keep her in your prayers.

Poor baby! I remember that my eldest grandson started with pneumonia when they were little. Fortunatly we saw him laying in the floor (the other grandma was babysitting) and my husband grabbed the child and took him to the hospital. They X rayed him and gave him antibiotics immediatly. He was well whitin 2 or 3 days. Maybe your niece will be healthy soon.

What a cutie pie. Stupid doctor should know the difference between a cold and pneumonia. I hope she recovers soon so she can be home for Christmas. Any idea on when you will be moving into the new house yet?

@LovingMyBabies Mommy knows best and now look what happened thanks to this doctor. At least she is getting taken care of now.I hope for that sweet angel she don't have to spend Christmas in the hospital.

@Tina30219 Thanks, she's such a little angel. They should know the difference, my sister kept telling the doctor it was more than that but they wouldn't listen to her. =(
We are hoping it will be sometime this week, but I'm no longer holding my breath about it.

OH!!! Definitely sending out healing prayers for your niece Such a young age to be that sick. Hopefully she will outgrow it. Apparently when I was younger every winter I would get pneumonia. Some times I would end up in the hospital, because of dehydration, but I outgrew it.

@STOUTjodee Thank you for the prayers, they are appreciated! I hope she will out grow it as well. She is sick a lot and the doctors keep saying it's just viral things. =( This time though it landed her in the hospital.
