San Diego Chargers CEO and team president Dean Spanos on Sunday said in an interview with CBS reporter Scott Kaplan the Chargers are 'leaning' on leaving San Diego to share a football stadium with the Los Angeles Rams in the near future. The citizens in San Diego rejected a ballot measure to build a new football stadium to replace Qualcomm Stadium. Spanos in an interview with Kaplan said the Chargers would have "committed to San Diego" if at least 50 percent of the voters would have approved of building a new stadium. The voters rejected the new stadium idea by a vote 57.24% to 47.76% in November. Could you blame them since the Chargers are not in contention to make a playoff run in 2016. The date for the Chargers management to announce their intention to move to Los Angeles in the near future or decide to stay in San Diego where they have been since 1961 after they spent their only season in Los Angeles in 1960 where they played their football games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Great, not one but two loser teams in one stadium.

Poor Los Angeles football fans who have to tolerate two football teams that make the 1980 New Orleans Saints 1-15 team look like the New England Patriots Super Bowl championship teams by comparison.
