A marathon with Netflix.

I wanted to rest my feet for some time and stayed watching Netdlix for 3 hours on a row.
There was a mini serial about the life of Pope Francis. I decided to check on it, guessing that it would take me a small time to turn it off.
But the life of the Catholic Pope is my own story. He is from Argentina and 11 years my senior. He suffered in Argentina what us, chilean people, suffered under a militar dictator.
This is not just the story of a Pope; it is the story of very difficult years in the story of his country. And as it was very similar to what happened in mine, I could understand it very well.
I don´t know if the serial can be seen elsewhere. The language is Spanish but it might have subtitles. Check it.

Probably for other people it was only a religious serie but for me it brought back the horror of a whole generation that was destroyed. We still have the scars.

It wasn´t just religion. Argentina suffered under a dictator as we suffered with Pinochet.
