Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien on Monday has selected Tom Savage to his starting quarterback for the remainder of the current regular football season. Savage replaced starting quarterback Brock Osweiler during the first half of the Texans 21-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Savage was a fourth round draft choice of the Houston Texans in the 2014 National Football League Draft out of the University of Pittsburgh. Savage played in two games for the Texans during his rookie season but he did not see any playing time during the 2015 regular football season. The Texans (8-6) are currently in first place tied with the Tennessee Titans in the American Football Conference South Division. O'Brien has to go with Savage with two games to go in the 2016 regular football season in my his view Savage gives his team the best chance to make it to the playoffs then going with Osweiler who has not been able to keep his job as the starting quarterback of the Texans with his below average performance as the leader of the team this year. The Texans take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home and end the regular season against the Tennessee Titans on the road in their two remaining games of the 2016 football season.

I understand where you are coming from. In my native Panama soccer is king but American football is liked by the Americans living the in the former Canal Zone.
