The Tokyo Subway Is INSANE

Philippines

it's just a short video but i have to agree that it is INSANE!! it's like a normal thing that this situation happens everyday in the subway! i mean, i can't imagine myself trying to still squeeze in that sardines like subway. the guy in the video is not even bothered if he will get trapped in the door. an officer even pushed the guy inside and then they just close the door. i thought it's an automatic subway door. i had experienced a busy and crowded trip by train maybe twice and i wasn't even squeezing to get in. there were people- a lot of people but it was manageable. Packed in like sardines!

You should see the MRT and LRT stations here in the Philippines... soul-crushing is the term that comes to mind.

@therealmaryyy you should try riding the MRT and LRT lines especially during rush hour. It isn't for the faint-heart. By the way, what did you do here in Manila? When did you go? What do you think of Manila?

@allen0187 i don't know.. i never liked the traffic in manila. A friend of mine had to resign and go back home cause she'll look much older than her age if she will stay in manila. I'm Filipino. I had to go to a clinic to do tests. I can visit manila once in awhile. Haven't spent an entire day or overnight in manila.

I haven't been to Japan yet. So I don't know whether this is true and it happens quite often. I shall ask my friend about it.

Goodness! I think cycling is a good alternative of going to certain places.. you'll be lucky if your workplace is only a few miles away.

It's funny how they shove people in like they do.
