The Jungle Cat.

The Jungle Cat is one of the smaller cats, you don't hear a lot about, everyone mostly only talks about the big cats, they can be found in swampy areas in China or the Middle East, they really almost look like house cats, but a little taller than most, they get about 14 inches at the shoulder and, can weigh around 40 pounds, as you would expect, they feed on mice and, vermin anything smaller than they are. Jungle cats can also climb trees pretty well.

I always thought it was just a generic term for any cat that lives in the jungle.

It probably is, but this is these ones actual name too, out here everyone calls them Wildcats.
