Visiting The World From The Comfort Of My Home

Yes, I love to visit the world from the comfort of my home, nice and warm inside. No waiting in line at the airport, no ticket to buy, no time wasted anywhere to get there. All I have to do is sit in my comfortable leather office chair and type a few words on my keyboard and just look at the screen. And from there, I just crossed the Atlantic and didn't even get seasick. I am on my way to Spain right now. But I will have to put my screen on hold for a while as I have to go out right now in real life and face the cold weather of Canada. I will resume my trip to Spain when I come back from my appointment. It will be so nice to see some beaches and wonderful blue sky. See you later.

@marlina Armchair travel is so much cheaper and you can go places without having to smell them!

@xFiacre , Smell them? Do you mean that there are places that are really "stinky"?

@marlina Oh you'd better believe it. Paris and Rome are quite shifty when the wind blows in the right direction.

That is the very reason my late husband and I used to trade postcards with people from around the world for so many years. It helped both of us to see the whole world from home. Enjoy your journey!

@Kandae11 Yes and No on this one as that stuff can happen anywhere now. Even in our hometown, we just do not know anymore.

That is one of the beautiful things about the internet. The world is literally at your fingertips! I just visited Patagonia in South America this past weekend. I had the most amazing adventure, and didn't have to spend any money whatsoever!

Lovely idea. I was doing something similar for awhile and loving it. What I was doing is looking up beautiful gardens around the globe that people tend and love. It made me long to create my own one day. I think I like your idea too, I may try it some time soon.
