Got Lost Twice

I ended up getting lost twice over the past couple days on my way to my new work place. As someone who has an anxiety disorder, this nearly caused me to quit. Yesterday I finally figured out my route and got to work without a major issue. I was so happy. LoL. My feet hurt so bad though. I do have to walk from the bus to work and then am on my feet on the hard floor for 8 hours with little relief. My other store was carpeted and I was more contained in one area so didn't have to walk as much. My poor feet need a day off. Hope you all are well. Take care. (Picture belongs to MissNikki)

I'm happy to hear you figured out your way. Is your shoes cushioned? Maybe cushioned shoes will help your feet for standing on hard floors would be handy!

@MissNikki That is good. Yeah I don't like to stand on hardwood or hard cement for long periods of time. I hope you get adjusted to the working environment soon :)

Yes I do have good shoes, just not used to working so long on the very hard floors. LoL

Good that you persisted and now have figured out the best route to get to work. Hopefully you will get used to the work and your feet and legs become super-strong and will be able to resist the strain of the constant walking. Getting your first paycheck will show the benefit of having a job and relax you a bit. All the best!

@MissNikki I am very sorry that you had a rough time. I do hope you start to feel more relaxed and at home there soon. Not that home should involve having your feet sore....ya get what I mean!

It is actually the tree at a family member's house - I am jealous because my tree is so small! LoL
