My daughter and I are sporting bald heads. We both shaved it clean to wear our wigs. I will not be growing my hair back for a few years. not unless it stops falling out. I am loving my wigs that I buy. I can't find doing my real hair better with bald spots it looks terrible. Maybe in the summer I will wear a scarf over it.

I love wigs! I don't wear them myself, but I love people who can rock a wig or wigs. You can do anything with them if someone wants to be blonde today and a red head tomorrow, that is great to do haha! It is a good way to look at the brightside of things.

Sounds fun for both of you to do the same hair do. I thought about shaving mine too but will just get it cut real short whenever I am able to get to a salon.

Not if they are good human hair wigs. I love them wet and wavy which is wet it and your done. I just need to gel the edged side and I a done.

As I suffer from an itchy scalp, I can't imagine wearing a wig. It would drive me crazy.

That is what happens to me as my scalp is peeling. Kay put some moisturizer on it.

Will you get hot in a wig in the summer or does that matter. A scarf would work good in the summer.

Yes so most often I can't wear them so the scarf would work.

There are so many beautiful wigs today. I had to wear one the summer that I turned 12 years old. My head was shaved because I had a brain tumor removed, and when I went back to school in September, the kids were pretty mean about me wearing a scarf or a hat, since most of them knew how sick I was. All I remember was that the wig that I had was tight and felt very hot when I wore it-it was nylon.

That is how they were with kay when she lost her hair due to ring worm. Kids are cruel at times.
