Merry Christmas!!

Good afternoon from here in Kansas, wishing you a Merry Christmas.
Other than church this morning, we did our "celebrating" Friday and yesterday.
Church this morning was a reading then a few Christmas hymns, another reading, a few more songs, and another reading and a few more songs.
With so few of us there (about 24) one member called us to all come to the front of the church to sing Joy to the World as a group instead of spread out all over the church. I agree that did make it much more special.
In my picture are the gifts from my middle daughter. She painted me that picture and I think she did an awesome job.
My oldest daughter gave me a monkey set for the bathroom as well as a Christian Christmas CD.
My youngest daughter, knowing I've not been able to afford my breakfast drink for a long time, got me 3 canisters of Ovaltine.
In the adult gift exchange game at our family gathering party, I came home with 2 boxes of Hershey's Pot of Gold chocolates. (which I've already eaten too many of)

It is nice that your celebrating was spread over several days. It just seems to make more sense for many people.

Yes, I do love it and it means a lot to me...just like Liz getting the monkey set knowing I love and collect them....and Jasmine getting the Ovaltine knowing I've not been able to buy my breakfast drink in a long time.

Mine has been very nice. Watched a three part documentary entitled "Who Is Jesus?" from the History Channel. I'm not religious but am curious. Is it the Carnation Instant Breakfast that you get? I like to have a glass of ice cold milk before bedtime. Those chocolates sure sound good. My daughter and I splurged on a box at the beginning of the month and enjoyed them one evening.
