Desk work

I feel like working at my desk, I haven't been able to because my ex was he was living here decided to put a big ol hole in the floor..Ugh because he shifted in the chair so much so aggressively that my floor caved in a bit. A few weeks ago my mom put in a board that might have helped that issue. I am thinking of cleaning up my desk so I can actually work at in instead of being in my bed all the time. I have a bad hip and so sitting cross legged for a few hours at a time before I get up an stretch is not really feeling that great. So time to clean up the desk and put my laptop over there. I should probably put some socks on because it gets really cold over at my desk do to some holes in the walls...my house is falling apart haha!

Your ex must be a big boy. I have an arthritic hip and it pains me badly at time. But, I am on my bed all of the time and my computer is a laptop so I can use it where ever I want to. I wouldn't like setting at a desk for hours. Would rather be on my bed. My legs need strethching and strengthening and I can do that as a brake too when I want to. I hope your house doesn't fall apart any time soon.

@DesirousDreamer ........That's a bummer. My whole half of my leg goes numb after a while and then I have to stretch and get the feeling back. what we internet addicts have to put up with huh?

He was a big guy. I am a big girl but I don't destroy things like that. I am more gentle since I know my size. That sounds so painful. I can't use my laptop with my legs straight out, it feels so uncomfortable and my ex broke my laptop tray...of course he did. I had blood clots in my right leg and it really messed up my hip because of all the weight that happened.

I feel like it helps my back a lot more if I sit at a desk and my legs. No such much my bottom though haha I just have to keep moving, which is good to do when working at a computer.

I'm cleaning the whole room, my desk isn't really mine because my mother uses her laptop right there. I find cool things of the past, spring cleaning (as I call it) is a very nice experience. It requires a really messy room though. I'm bound to bed, that's fine, I can sit or lie on it and use my laptop. And fall asleep and risk that my laptop falls on the floor, too.

Working at the desk is definitely better, I prefer that than sitting on the couch or on the bed. Plus it's not good to place the laptop on your lap too long.

I feel like I can get a lot more work done and get less distracted if I work at a desk.
