I am proud to live in Idaho. For many reasons. White water, mountains close by, the people, mountain lakes, and so much more. Yes, potatoes too. But here we produce this tasty little morsel that is so divine, so tasty. You wouldn't believe it. What is it you may ask? It is the Idaho Spud. It has been around since 1918. A marshmallow center with chocolate coating and coconut sprinkled on top. A friend worked at the Idaho Candy Company, where they are made, for a while back in the late 70's. She would bring home the pieces that left when they packaged them. She would give me part of the big snacks she brought home every few weeks. If you really want a yummy treat go to the Idaho Candy Company site and order a package of them. You won't be sorry. The Owyhee Butter Toffee isn't bad either. We're famous for huckleberries here too. Does your state produce a goodie too?
Idaho Candy Company was founded in 1901 and has produced produced over 50 different candy bars over the years and many varieties of boxed chocolates. We're locate in the heart of historic Downtown Boise, ID. Some of the bar names included: Chicken Dinner B

@celticeagle I really love chocolates and candies but I have to avoid it sometimes. It's difficult to be sick these days.
