@JudyEv you're welcome... are Kangaroos unfriendly? are they something to be scared of?

@magallon No, you don't need to be scared of them. Sometimes a big male kangaroo gets aggressive but mostly they are only too pleased to be able to get away from humans.

Do you like Kangaroos?

@dpk262006 Of course...who doesn't.....they are not like sharks and snakes and gators...

Kangaroos are really lovely animals. The mums are such good mothers too.

We do too. We see a lot of them around the house now and down in our paddocks.

@JudyEv Sometimes they show up under the 'You Might Also Like' list... Also, when someone responds or comments on an old post, the action would bring the post to 'Most Recent Activity' list and give even more exposure to it... And of course, they may be so interested in your posts and simply go to your profile page and go through your discussion list... Searching for discussion posts under specific tag words can also resulted to landing on old discussions...

@sishy7 Thanks. That all makes sense. I find myself paying more and more attention to the tags I use. Sometimes I want to refer back to a post or sometimes I can't remember if I've posted about something so I use the search feature. It can be very handy.

I posted this two days short of a year ago. I'm wondering how come you found it. Not that it matters but I'm just curious.

Water is harder to find than food in most parts of Australia so the troughs and bowls we have around the place are well used.

They are lovely creatures, aren't they? We are very lucky to have so many of them around here.

Does your sister-in-law live in the eastern part of Australia or the western part?

@JudyEv She lives in Sydney, don't know where Sydney is exactly. Never got a chance to visit her but the picture she sends shows how beautiful Australia is I would love to see it someday

@kavinitu Sydney is on the east coast. We live over on the west coast. Sydney is a very beautiful city.

It was probably on the video I did of kangaroo photos. I trot it out from time to time so you might have seen it.

@JudyEv yer correct, hon 'n i'm glad that'cha can supply 'em with such. i like to keep the pond runnin' here although there's many water troughs - the birds tend to get'n, then can't get out :( the fox 'n others though go to get 'em drinks. which's kinda sad 's they used to frequent the pond's well prior to the neighbors pup movin' here.

In Australia providing water for creatures is much more important than providing food. We have bowls in front of the Music Shack which gets filled when the grass is watered and Herc has four troughs that he shares with the 'roos. The black cockatoos sometimes come in flocks and drink at the troughs too.
