Instead of the snow, we got the rain...

I drive people crazy and I know it. Since I no longer have to pay someone to shovel a driveway, I pray for snow all the time! Of course, most everyone I know up here hates the snow so they don't want to hear it from me. I just think the snow is so beautiful.
Instead, we have this grey, dark, dreary day where it's raining like crazy and it's so cold. Great for sleeping and I was working on sleeping the day away when my buzzer went off and a package arrived. So I had to get up. Tomorrow will be a very busy day around here and I'll need to be up early, so I'm going to try my best to stay awake and get to sleep at an earlier time (if I can).
Books from the library are coming tomorrow. A grocery delivery is coming. And prescriptions from the pharmacy are coming tomorrow. Then I'll be all set to snuggle down for the weekend. Hope I get some good books.

I always tell myself I will stay awake and not allow myself to fall asleep. Yeah, most of the time I fail and sleep for about a half hour. Then I go to bed and "think" I'll rest well. Yeah, not happening.
So, I hopefully will rest enough to make it through tomorrow then I have the weekend off.
Hope you get some great books!

Sleep has become such a nuisance! I wish so much that I could just live without needing sleep. I could keep myself occupied so well without it! lol But, no such luck. I just hope I can sleep tonight or else everyone will see a bleary-eyed me tomorrow! hahaha (and yes, I hope so, too! I need a juicy book to read!)

Well, that is great that they deliver the books to you. I am a big fan of grocery delivery but I don't think we have a pharmacy around here that delivers.

We have two pharmacies in the area that deliver and I recently heard that I could also get deliveries from CVS, although I was told that they are much more expensive. Right now I get free delivery from my pharmacy, and when I called for an over the counter med today, they called me back with some less expensive alternatives, which I really appreciated!

It's nice when you don't have to shovel the snow. For the most part, our landlord deals with them. My husband does shovel the patio so we can get in and out through our patio door, if needed, but for the rest, it's our landlord. It's a large complex, so it makes sense. Hopefully you get your deliveries when they're supposed to. Enjoy!

It must be so nice to have a patio! I always wanted a patio or balcony, but our building doesn't give us either one. But I love my little apartment and when the weather is nice, we have a gazebo outside where I can go and sit and read. And there are little benches around the property, too. So no complaints here. Just sitting back and waiting for the snow now.

It is raining here right now and I'm so glad because we needed it! I tried to nap earlier but the kids woke me. Ugh. Oh well, early bedtime for me.

Both. I give the librarian lists of books and authors I'd like to read and she finds those for me as well as other books of the same genre, to give me a taste of new authors. I'm definitely reading a much wider range of books now than I ever would have on my own.

I love the rain in warmer weather, so I can get out and walk in it. But when it's cold like this, it just feels like getting pelted with ice.
