Are you going out or staying in? Are you staying up to ring in 2017?
We are probably going out for a late lunch at our usual hangout. We will have a few cocktails there as well. Then we will come home and hang out here for the night. We haven't gone out for New Year's Eve in years. I just can't stay up until midnight any longer. I'll be in bed long before the ball in Times Square drops!
What are you planning for New Year's Eve?

Well, just drinking and fireworks, but if we go to the bar, we usually go somewhere to eat first.

@NJChicaa - Our bar does not serve food, so we have to go to a different bar to eat.

I will prepare my annual Dutch New Year's Eve treat, Oliebollen, for supper. Then I'll probably head to bed at my usual time.

@NJChicaa they are similar to apple fritters and are a traditional Dutch New Years treat.

It's just another night to me. All that having staying up to see the ball drop no longer matters. I never go out as too many crazies out there.
