A Creche for Husbands

We saw this on a street in Melbourne, Australia when we were visiting our son. I think I have seen it before somewhere but maybe others haven't seen it. I wonder if it helps increase their business? And this will probably be my last post till we get back from celebrating New Year. I don't we'll have wi-fi in the holiday house although it is quite a luxurious place. Have a great New Year everyone and stay safe.

Where are you off too? You did not tell me A creche indeed is a good idea but my niece's husband will never use it as he and his wife are inseparable!! And my niece is miserable about it

Some spouses tend to smother their loved ones. I mostly prefer shopping on my own, only because I don't like feeling I am holding him up timewise. We're at a friend's house about an hour from home.

That's hilarious, I like that...That probably wouldn't go over in the states, somebody would complain it wasn't politically correct..

Australians try to thumb their noses at politically correct stuff but it is often frowned on.

I am sure this store has a lot of customers, husbands love to congregate at the bar while women are shopping.

@LadyDuck Vince likes grocery shopping especially if he has an idea for a meal in mind. Maybe I need a creche as I am the one who gets a bit impatient.

@judyev Husbands do often get in the way on shopping trips. Some of us do so on purpose. Have a great celebration.

Thanks. I mostly like to shop on my own on the rare occasion when I shop for clothes. I get anxious about keeping Vince waiting for me too long but it's all in my mind. He is happy to wait but I'm sure he'd be happier waiting in a hotel.

I reckon I've seen it somewhere too but I'm not on FB so it would have had to be somewhere else. Maybe I just saw it last year.

That's nice. Drop him off and let him get plastered while you shop. No telling how that will turn out when you pick him up in his drunken state and he starts complaining about the stuff you bought and you spending too much money. Have a Happy New Year's Day.

@JudyEv Yeah, if he were a "happy drunk" I suppose he would care how much you spent–until he sobered up.

That's all very true. Or perhaps if he's a 'happy drunk' he wouldn't mind that you had spent some money. :)
