A Creche for Husbands

We saw this on a street in Melbourne, Australia when we were visiting our son. I think I have seen it before somewhere but maybe others haven't seen it. I wonder if it helps increase their business? And this will probably be my last post till we get back from celebrating New Year. I don't we'll have wi-fi in the holiday house although it is quite a luxurious place. Have a great New Year everyone and stay safe.

Thanks Joanne. The 1st January is almost over now - and I have picked up a cold somewhere. :(

@JudyEv I am sorry about the cold. I have had a severe runny nose the last two days! Let's hope you get better soon. It is only 8:58 am on New Year's day here!

@JudyEv ugh! I hope it's a cold that leaves quickly. Lingering summer colds are the worst!

@JudyEv That is interesting! From Thanksgiving to shortly after the New Year this kind of thing appears to be happening a lot.

Where are you off too? You did not tell me A creche indeed is a good idea but my niece's husband will never use it as he and his wife are inseparable!! And my niece is miserable about it

Some spouses tend to smother their loved ones. I mostly prefer shopping on my own, only because I don't like feeling I am holding him up timewise. We're at a friend's house about an hour from home.

That's hilarious, I like that...That probably wouldn't go over in the states, somebody would complain it wasn't politically correct..

Australians try to thumb their noses at politically correct stuff but it is often frowned on.

That is so funny. I wonder how many wives have their husbands wait there for them as they do the shopping.

@judyev Husbands do often get in the way on shopping trips. Some of us do so on purpose. Have a great celebration.

Thanks. I mostly like to shop on my own on the rare occasion when I shop for clothes. I get anxious about keeping Vince waiting for me too long but it's all in my mind. He is happy to wait but I'm sure he'd be happier waiting in a hotel.

@LadyDuck Vince likes grocery shopping especially if he has an idea for a meal in mind. Maybe I need a creche as I am the one who gets a bit impatient.
