~No Heat!~

Good morning everyone! Last night it actually got into the low 40's here. It was cold! Since we don't have heat in our home-that whole half of the house has no electric working at the moment it got cold in here. When we woke up it was 60 degrees F. Thank God my husband borrowed a space heater for our bedroom to keep it warm for the baby. We don't want him getting more sick. We will be hanging out in here most of the day unless it warms up a lot. Aunt Mary is of course complaining about no heat but there's nothing we can do about it... This move has to happen soon! And I hope she will be moving on the 3rd to Louisiana. I hope your all staying warm!

I hope for your sake that it warms up! And as for your aunt, she needs to shut her pie hole. She should be grateful that she has a roof over her head. I hope she moves out as she has said she would.

@LovingMyBabies I would tell her to go to her room and stay there if she can't say anything nice. You have the right to do that.

@ElusiveButterfly It is so hard for me to be harsh. My husband tells me to speak up but I have a hard time doing that.

@ElusiveButterfly Yeah it's supposed to. =) We are all hoping and praying that she will be leaving VERY soon! We are sick and tired of her ungratefulness and complaints...

@LovingMyBabies When do you guys get to move in to the new house? It will truly be "new" as it will be in the new year . . . it will be so worth the wait.

@much2say They are working on the pipes in the street because there's a kink in the line for our house. =( We don't know how long it will take which is so frustrating! Yes it will be worth it when we can finally get in there!

@LovingMyBabies At least she will be gone soon and hopefully you will be in the new home soon. She iz acting like a little child that is not getting any attention that it wants.

@Tina30219 YES and YES! That is exactly how she acts. She gets mad when we leave her here to go to the store, she gets annoyed when the kids get to go somewhere and we don't take her (Seriously?!?) and she gets mad when my husband will get me something and not her... It is so beyond my understanding the way she behaves.

@Tina30219 I know! We are so ready for her to go and for us to move to the new house. Exactly-we are all cold and miserable-not just her! Ugh.

@LovingMyBabies I am at Disney World right now, but I saw that Gainesville had a freeze warning for the past two nights, as temps got down into the low 30s. Did it not get that cold in Jax?

Thsy would be miserable not having heat. I am glad you got the space heater and can at least heat one room to keep warm. I keep praying you will finally be able to move and get settled in a warm place. Happy New Year. I hope 2017 will be filled with much happiness and good health for your family. Hopefully Aunt Mary will be gone soon.

@Happy2beme Yeah none of us like being cold when we have to leave the bedroom but right now unfortunately there isn't much we can do about it until we move. Thank you so much for the prayers-we need them! I hope the utility workers get moving on the pipes. This is frustrating beyond belief at this point. =( Thank you, I hope 2017 is a great year for you and your family as well!

@Happy2BeMe Yes a month is way too long with one set back after another. God has a reason for it though so I'm trying to have patience-even though its really hard!

@maezee We do rent. We were supposed to be out of here by January 1st but the landlord gave us an extension so we really can't complain about anything at this point. We're waiting for our new home to be ready...

@marlina This has been going on for about a week or so but it hasn't been too bad weather wise until last night. =( This is our life and how it always seems to go. Roller coaster life is what we have. The good times must be coming soon!

That is cold! Thank goodness your hubs got the space heater! It dropped to the low sixties at night here and we had a high of 68. We are much further south than you. I like it cold when we sleep. We left the doors open. Now the a/c is on. We set it to 63 at night. Now it's back to 80. Go figure. Has it warmed up in your area, too?

I'm glad your husband was able to borrow a space heater to keep the baby warm. Perhaps the chill will convince Aunt Mary she would be warmer elsewhere.

It is cold here too in our home, the heater we have for the house is no good. The PG&E needs to come out and look at it, no heat coming out of it, but it smells awful... I have on so many clothes to keep warm, I am not happy like this.

Our furnace was on the fritz for over a week this past month. We were using our gas fireplace and 2 space heaters to stay comfortable. I am not looking forward to seeing our next hydro bill.
