With my article I am posting? Did not find any information here in the earnings area, and since I have not been active here in a long time I know someone can help shed some light on this one. If Yes, then I may need to start adding them once I figure out how to add them.

It might garner more attention, and thus theoretically you could earn more. It's still all about quality and not quantity here. Welcome Back, by the way.

Right now the last 2 days I guess my discussions are boring as I am not getting too many people coming on them and liking or commenting.

@KrauseHome I don't know, it could be the time of day you are on as well. I'm not the one to ask as I am on at night, since I work third shift.

We no longer get paid for photos...now, having said that, a photo can make a discussion more attractive to people and result in more users coming to it.

Right now the last 2-3 days I think everyone is focusing on other things as I am getting few responses back to my discussions.

That's my thought. I like a post with a cool photo. I might comment on the photo even if the text doesn't give me much to talk about.

to attract attention and responses, yes, especially if they're original and personal (you don't have to be in it to maintain your privacy). others get pictures from pixabay to help illustrate or give an idea since we come from all over the world. just make sure the size is less than 3mb, so you either resize it or crop the edges. welcome back and happy new year!

Thank You and yes, I have been adding pictures now with everything but not noticing many comments lately so everyone must be busy or my discussions are boring?

I am trying both and last 2 days this site seems too slow and not enough activity going on at least in my discussions to even notice either way.

The first thing to remeber is that MyLot doesn't pay you for anything you do, so adding a picture has no direct or automatic effect on your earnings. However, I find - and I'm sure others do too - that I tend to be attracted to a discussion slightly more if it has an image attached, especially one which looks interesting in the small thumbnail version you see in the discussion listing. Whether or not I open a discussion depends on a number of factors, the image being only one of them. Whether I actually respond to the discussion, of course, is another matter and that depends on whether the discussion interests me and whether I have anything to say of value!

I am attracted by title, subject, and a cool photo. As I mentioned elsewhere, I might comment on a cool photo (earning the writer big bucks) even if the text wasn't that interesting to me.

I'm not sure about it but there are discussions without photos but they are catchy so people get attracted to them even without photos.

If you put a beautiful picture, there would much more people like your articles and respond them.

Not necessarily but your post can be more appealing with a photo =) When you add your discussion, you will see Add Image and you can upload a photo. You can still edit your post to add a photo though.

I do not think you earn more by adding a picture. Wait and see if someone else tells you the answer.

I think a good picture (especially your own) adds a lot to a post.

I think posts with photos in them do gain more views. I can be hit and miss at times, though, no arm on trying it out, all the best.

i have no idea. i like to use pictures ive taken with my posts. I try to find one that fits the discussion. when you start posting pics of your own, just make sure they arent too big in size.
