I made a lot of snowmen in my life and let me tell you that they were always ugly, somehow, could never build them really pretty.

@amadeo I guess my snowmen must have been the best, as for being ugly, they were. I always made them with their head too small for their body.

We've always had to drive to see snow . . . I have made snowmen (little teeny icy ones) before! We only get rain here . . . I haven't figured out how to make rainmen

Yes, years ago when I was a kid, my sister and I made one when we got one of our rare snowstorms here in Georgia.

@amadeo Marietta and much of North Georgia get snow but not every year. When it does happen, it is usually not more than 4 or 5 inches. (the extreme north of Georgia gets more snow than the lower part of north Georgia.

Some of my fondest memories were making snowmen and snowwomen with my brothers and later on, with my sons. Now I make sand castles!

Somewhere is a very old photo from when I was about 17 in front of Mom's house making a snowman with the boyfriend at the time. I had more fun doing that than almost anything else! I even made a snow fort once and used to sit in it and hide from everyone! Today, however, it's way too warm for snow! It's 50 degrees! Tomorrow, however, should be around freezing and I hear snow might be coming our way.

Every time I tried to make a snowman as a child, it always looked like a deformed monster! I can't wait until I have children of my own to build snowmen (or snowmonsters) with.
