I drove my car home

That sounds like I got drunk at a bar and still was able, sort of, to drive home.
I am a bit drunk, I guess, with happiness. It is dangerously cold today BUT there is sunshine. Lovely sunshine. And clear roads. Snow is where it should be: in the fields and off the roads. Roommate had no problem driving the ten miles to town.
I decided it was my turn to sit behind the wheel of my car and actually drive the darned thing!! Our driveway road still has deep snow drifts. I kept the car moving slow but sure and we got through the thick clots of snow and up to our front wooden gate.
All this week the temps will be insanely cold but no new snow. Yay us!

@sallypup I wouldn't mind a little snow. It was in the 50's today so all we have is puddles from the rain. Of course, everyone else around here grumbles about snow. I just love sitting in the windows up here and looking at it! That's the little kid in me! lol

@rebelann We have a sitution like that in the summer. I can't get green beans to grow cause it gets too hot for them. If a person doesn't water and water each and every day during July and August things just dry up. I wish you luck on growing things. I like to watch the seedlings pop up.

@rebelann Great question. It depends. We had a long rainy autumn until the end of November. Right after December started so did gunk and freezing gunk. This should start easing up by February though I wouldn't plant anything until maybe March?? Like peas and lettuces that are hardier. May would be a better month for planting.

We have snow on the ground. Had had blue skies the last few days but today it is rather grey. We are to have colder weather for several days. I hope it does't last. Glad you made it home okay and will continue to.

That sounds quite wonderful, I really hate driving in an snow. We are in Savannah tonight, it is 69 degrees and I am in heaven!!

@Jessicalynnt I have studded tires on this 2 door Toyota. So far its doing okay. After this weekend's snow tornado I am not sure what is going to happen.

We don't have any snow here yet and there is none in sight for at least a week. We are suppose to have heavy rain tonight. I am happy with no snow.
