Sonic Ice Cream Large Please!

United States
January 4, 2017 2:25am CST
Uhm, whoops? In my defense, I wasn't the one ordering it. In my further defense, it has been forever since I've been to Sonic. In my further further defense, I think I've only ever gotten an ice cream cone and / or a shake. Anyway.... This is a large and it's taking me awhile to finish it. I ate a bit when I first got it, then some more a few hours later, and just now a little more. I think I'll have it finished the next time I get it out to have some. But ya know, if anyone wants the rest you're welcome to it. It's reese's flavored.

It is delicious. I will probably have it as dessert for whatever we end up eating today for supper.. Speaking of which, I'm starved.

I haven't been to Sonic is probably a couple of years. We used to go there after getting groceries at Walmart. Needed a drink in mid summer. Get so thirsty shopping. Hehe We usually get a frosty from Wendy's which is just across the street from where we live.

I haven't been to wendy's in probably six months and before that it had been years. The closest sonic to us is still a 7 minute drive, and we don't normally get any kind of food from that area, unless it's a sit down meal.

@celticeagle We've gotten a lot more places popping up for us. It used to be just a burger king, mcdonald's and waffle house for years and years. Then wendy's popped up, an arby's, starbucks and a barbecue place called Dicky's.

Only Ice Cream I can get is out of the Freezer where we go to the Shops. Not like when we had an Ice Cream Van in England that would go around the Streets with the Music on and all the kiddies would run to the Van no matter where he was to ask for their Ice Cream. Must have tasted wonderful too.

No ice cream shops in Spain then? That's a bit weird. I know they have Paleta vans that come around here in the US. Basically different types of dessert bars on a stick but from a Latino ice cream shop... I don't know where the companies owners originated though nor whether it's spread across the US. Ah I remember the ice cream vans of my youth, whenever we'd hear the tune we'd go begging for the money and running out the door for the hopes of an ice cream. I think I always got the ice cream sandwich with three different flavors of ice cream in the middle.

That sounds really good. I have never tried Sonic before. We don't have them here but I have seen them in places that I have visited. It looks like a lot!

It is definitely a lot of ice cream. We asked for large and didn't expect so much ice cream! Of course for it costing $22.00 for four of us, it's definitely worth it's value.

I can't eat ice cream when it's cold outside. I'm not really a huge fan of ice cream anyway.

It's getting colder this week than it has been for most of the season. We are to expect a wintry mix by Saturday. With that being said, it wasn't very cold last night at all. Though I am backwards at any rate, and eat most of my ice cream in the winter months.

We would tell you (A Vegan/Vegetarian household) life is too short to skip what you like, so enjoy the ice cream.

It has been several years since I've been, other than last night of course. Sonic is good, but just not something close enough to justify as "fast food".
