It really ticked me off. I was keypunching away around here somewhere and turned to pet the furbabies and to my delight they were bein soooo cute . My camera was right there ready to be used so I picked it up and quickly took a shot . DAMMIT, they moved. It happens all the time and the cutest shots of all are ruined cuz those two saw me pick up the camera and decided to leave. Whats up with that?

Those are the woes of a photographer. I am used to it by now and the plus of it is that it has made me more patient.

I actually don't have bad days just not so good photo ops @allknowing I rarely show the not so good photos I get a lot of but I just figured why not show the shots that aren't that good.

As well as determined I would assume. I am patient but I had to show mylot that I too take some of those goofs that people think photographers don't make. I really think the good shots are 1 out of 100.

It takes a lot of shots to get one that's share worthy and boy is it hard to get one when they're really being cute.

Animals seem to know when we want to take candid shots and they become camera shy.

I know and then you put the camera down for a while and pray they do it again. We're such saps for their tom foolery

They're camera shy? Children are like that too. You want to photograph their complete joy....or total concentration.....then the beam up at you with their camera smile.

A bit camera shy are they? You need one of those small button cameras that you can clip on your shirt. That way they have no idea what is going on.

I guess they don't like getting their pictures taken. Maybe you should keep it on your neck at all times and then they'd be so used to it they wouldn't notice you aiming it at them.

If it were a small camera I would consider it but mine is bulky

I've never tried to drive and take pictures at the same time @MarshaMusselman but I do pull over to the side of the road if the view is worthwhile.

@rebelann I'm always wishing I had mine ready when driving about and I see a pretty sky or cloud picture I could take. But, then again I wouldn't want to drive off the road while taking it. I usually leave my camera at home anyway. Mine is small enough, but it's still not that easy to have it nearby all the time.

Same here. I wanted to take a photo of Wylie's wound to show my friend and beta reader. But he keeps playing hide and go seek with his paw. Ugh!

Well now that's an idea @KristenH ... oh wait, they get really close to me when I have something they want so getting a shot isn't feasible
