Celebrity Crushes

Is it okay to have a crush on a celebrity even when you are quite old? My sister is in her 50's and is obsessed with James Franco. She has flown around the world to go to his film premieres and art shows! I am a fan of certain stars myself but I wouldn't go to these extremes. I suppose it depends on your dedication though!

I would definitely say my sister is obsessed. She buys all his art works and books and things.

I think there is no harm, crush can happen any age, it's normal. But as you said, i won't go to extremes as well.

I don't think it's just a simple crush! I have had celebrity crushes but were never obsessed with anybody to do extreme things.

i think your sister is on the line of becoming considered a stalker. then again, it is james franco, i dont think hed care, i think hed feel honored.

it can look not okay for others bcoz she is spending money and time for a person whom she will never get most probably.But for her these things may be giving her emmense pleasure and satisfaction.

@redurnet i guess she is living the dream of getting a chance of romance with me. Yeah it's just obsession. I guess u should try to make her understand the reality bcoz if her dream will not come true den she will get very upset.
