Cereal Binge!

My son has been going crazy with cereal. He wants it at just about every meal. He has had about 3 bowls today already. And while the bowl is not a normal big bowl it still holds enough for his tummy to get full. He finished off the Cookie Crisps a few days ago and the cereal container was then filled up with a Fruit Loops type cereal. He absolutely loves it and is devouring it. I think the container is about half full now maybe a little over half full. I guess since it is sugary cereal it makes sense he would want it all the time. When I was younger i don't think I ate cereal as much as he did but I do remember loving my fair share. My favorites were Trix, Fruity Pebbles, Honey Combs, and Cookie Crisps. Oh and Cap'n Crunch with Berries cereal. What was your favorite cereal to eat growing up? What kind of cereal do you eat now? How fast does a box of cereal go in your household?

I never ate cereals when I was a kid. I prefer eating rice meals for breakfast.

I liked corn flakes and rice crispies. I don't eat much cereal now but if I did it would probably be the same ones.

I didn't like rice krispies much because they had no flavor

My kids love cereal too. If I let them they would eat it for every meal. Lol. My favorite cereal growing up was Frosted flakes, and it still is. =)

My grandma loved Frosted Flakes and I am sure she still does as well. I ate it occasionally but I think I was more partial to the fruity cereals. lol

There were no cereals when I was a child. Aren't you afraid your son's teeth may be affected? There's a lot of sugar in cereals, isn't there?

There is but that is why we make sure he brushes his teeth, flosses, and uses mouth wash.

I don't eat much cereal now. Many of today's cereals are too full of sugar to be healthy. If I have any, it might be Weet-bix or Vita-Brits.
