They were wrong

For days they had been calling for snow. Even as late as last night they were calling for as much as 5cm before it turned to rain later today. This morning there were a few flakes in the air, and hardly a dusting of new snow on the ground. In a way I am glad. I didn't have to clear the driveway before it became heavy and sloppy. On the other hand, buses were still running so we had to get up and out the door. They are still calling for rain this afternoon, and more in the next few days. Then it will all freeze again.

Ugh, the trials of living where there is winter. It is not fun for anyone. Hope we have an early SPRING! Wouldn't that be nice?

I would love an early spring. I am not a fan of winter at all.

The past couple years I've notice they have really been able to predict the weather like that cause it's always changing on them. Glade you didn't have a mess and get to continue with your normal schedule. Be safe stay warm.

Yeah, weather is hard to predict, and where I live, it seems to be harder. Last summer we went months without rain, it either fizzled out before it reached us, or went to the north or south. I would like a good storm, just not bad enough to cause damage, etc.

We really haven't had much snow, but they are saying we will get a lot this winter. When? Who knows. I just hope we don't get stranded or lose power for several days.
