Sleeping time

What hour during the night do you go to sleep? I want to go to sleep at about 22:30 in order to be able to get enough hours of sleeping. Thing is that I often don't go to sleep at that hour and therefore do not get enough sleep. An interesting thing is that IOS system has an app which tells us when to go to sleep. I think it is called "sleeping time" or something like that. Interesting concept in my opinion. Do you get enough sleep? If so, how many hours do you sleep during a 24 hours cycle?

I am not one to talk. I am retired, a night person and do not live a conventional life. I usually start getting tired about 3a. and go to sleep by about 4a. I sleep, usually, until about 2p. I have severe depression and I think depressed people need more sleep. I also think that sleep is a individual thing. Some people don't need a lot of sleep, while others do. I have read that between 6-8 hours is normal. There is a lot of information out there on sleeping. Medmd.com is a good site and Lifescript.com too.

I have a hard time sleeping and have had a hard time sleeping all my life. I have to take Tylenol p.m. to help me sleep every night. I usually go to sleep around 10 or 11 p.m. and get up around sometimes 5 or 6 or 7 in the morning. I get up early to help my husband get ready for work. I make his coffee and his lunch and once I am awake I can not go back to sleep at all.

I understand. I have the same problem too. If I wake up then can't fall asleep back again just on rare occasions.

I used to sleep between 7-8 pm. Recently, I've been sleeping late at night.
