I hate built in apps! I wish tablets and smartphones are sold with just the appstore installed so we can choose what we want on our devices.

There are so many built in apps on my tablet and phones that I don't use and I wish I can uninstall them because I have no use for them. Google search- I can single do google searching with the browser, I don't think I need a separate app for Google search. I hate this built in app with a passion because I always accidentally swipe it while playing games because it is permanently activated. Google Maps- I understand the use of google maps for travelers and people with smartphones but I am using a Landline tablet. You don't need google maps for a tablet that won't leave my home. Oh I also dont use google maps on my smartphone and Ipad. Maybe if I am a contestant of the Amazing race I may have use for it. Contacts- I dont text and call anymore because I use Facebook messaging and Line app to communicate with the people I know. I can see people's faces with Line! I have no use for a list of contacts. Stocks- I am not an investor in the exchange stocks. I know it makes a lot of money but I am no expert on that field. I don't need an app about it. Apple Apps- The Bloatware of all bloatwares and no one uses them. Newstand- It may save me money because I wont need to buy news papers but I love news papers. They smell good and I can uses for old news papers. I love cutting coupons you know.... Game center- if I want to download games I will go with the appstore. I don't need a bloatware that suggests what Weather- if I want to know the weather, All I need to do is tilt my chin up and look at the freaking sky. Sports App- I play sports I don't watch them. I am not interested watching over paid people exercise. I want to watch zombies, Aliens, over the top characters and evil villains. Yellow Pages- I can google search on my browser. I dont need an app for it. ------------ What are the built in apps on your device you wish you can uninstall? I freaking hate getting this notification: Your hardware is running out of space, please uninstall some apps. The apps I use are the ones they want me to get rid off while the bloatwares are invincible.

So point on! I hate them so bad I have been going on everyday getting notifications from these stupid stuff that I don't even need and they take up so much space on the devices! I wish there was a way to remove them.

I wish Android and IOS sells an empty version so we can only have the app store and we have the power which apps we can install.

@allen0187 They were built in, they were installed since they were born from the factory's womb.

I totally agree with you. Especially when we buy some cheap mobile phone or tablet, they don't have big storage. And the built-im-apps will use up more storage and then it will slow down the mobile phone and tablet. Perhaps you can try to "root" it so that you can uninstall the built-in-apps.

@CaptAlbertWhisker You are right. Rooting is also risky. It is better to install Supersu after that.

There is a security risk with rooting though. I resorted to buying as sd card as a last resort. I would have saved 3 gb storage though if I rooted my phone and get rid of bloatware.

I have no issue deactivating all of the apps I don't want to use on my phone. Those default Apple apps, though... I'll never understand why they insist that I have to have Facetime, Health, Wallet, iBooks, News, Stocks, and all the other apps I never even look at on my iPod. It's a full page of wasted space on the screen, never mind all the storage that's wasted on that junk. Makes me never want to pay the money for an Apple phone, that's for sure...

I have 3gb worth of bloatware. Just imagine all the useful apps I can install in their places. I wish some company realize the potential market of a bloatware smartphone or tablet.

I thought about that too, the other day. Not that they cause me problems or anything but it would be good to get rid of the apps that I don't need.

There are so many useful apps that could have taken their places.
