~We Actually Got One!~

Wow, last night for the first time in years something unexpected but amazing happened! My husband did some work on an Outback Steakhouse the other day and the owner gave him 2 gift cards that equaled to $40. His helper volunteered for him and his wife to babysit our kids while my husband and I went to use the cards! 
I was just saying yesterday morning that we haven't had a date night in years. It was SO nice and different! So...my husband paid for them to babysit but we had a free meal so it wasn't too expensive at all! 
It was a much needed night out and the kids had a great time too! The kids said they had so much fun they wanted us to stay out all night...
I'm glad they had a good time!

Sounds good.
Although if someone volunteers to babysit do you need to pay them
I babysat my nieces but I didn't charge...the sky tv was my payment
But also I valued that time with my nieces

Glad you were able to squeeze in a date night with your hubby. Outback is one of my favorite places. Seems as if everyone had fun including the kids

That is so wonderful. Everybody needs a date night. It is good to have adult time together and even better that the kids enjoyed themselves top.
