The Bus to the Rescue

The stuff is all hitting the fan at the moment. If you don't know the saying, it means things are going a bit skewiff/pie-eyed/wrong. We haven't been able to get the BMW fixed so we have no brake lights and no electric brakes so we can't get our new caravan at the moment.
The other big problem is that we need to take the big car trailer out to the church. It is loaded with a generator, a very long pole which will hold two lights, a couple of ladders and a few other bits and pieces. The trailer is too heavy to be safe for my little car so it is the bus to the rescue.
Later this afternoon, we'll take the bus and car trailer out to the church. There is no electricity (so no lights) and no water at the church. We'll set up the lights and test them, sleep the night in the bus then come home early tomorrow. I was trying to wrangle a night in the bus at this little church but I would have hoped it would have been under different circumstances. But never mind. We're very lucky to have an option which will enable us to go ahead with our plans.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring? It will bring the concert that's for sure. And I'll be missing from time to time so take care, especially those coping with ice and snow.

Oh, so all this moving things is because you are setting up for a concert? That is interesting, because our pastors brought up inviting this singer to have a concert and how many were committed to help set it up. It will be sometime this summer if all goes well

@JudyEv Since the church has been decommissioned, is this why there is no electricity or water there? I thought it kind of unusual to hear of a place of worship that had no electricity or water. I hope everything went well for you at your concert!

This little church has been decommissioned and the owner asked us to help him run a concert there. We have house concerts on the lawn here in summer and perhaps one in the lounge each winter but this time we're doing it in collaboration.

Things may not work out currently but tough times don't last, tough people do.

@JudyEv just barely is fine as long as you make it through. Things will even out eventually.

Thanks for the good wishes. I try not to swear too much in public! Hence 'stuff'.

The concert was a great success so that was the main thing.
