What signals does your pet give you?

Those of us who have animals know that although our animals may not communicate in words they do definetely communicate in other ways. My cat has a special signal in the morning where he knocks a glass over in the bathroom. That is his signal he wants a drink out of the faucet. He has never been much for drinking out of his bowl! Another one is the face poke in the AM when he wants me to get up. I think he knows at this point though, that mommy does not like claws in the face!

When I had a dog, she always knew when it was bed time and would come over to the computer and nudge me. It was her way of saying - time for bed, I need to go out and so do you. I'd put her out, we'd both do our business, I'd bring her back in and we'd go to bed.

These pets can be so clever. How smart to let you know he wants a drink - of FRESH water!

What a smart cat you have! Doodles waits as long as possible, then jumps on the bed and steps on me. By then, he is pretty hungry. Mostly, he meows at me in a certain way and sits staring at me. He will lead me to the door to go for a walk or to the kitchen cabinet for a treat.
