Memorial service today

Last week the service for my friend who went to sleep in death on December 30th was cancelled because of the snow, so it was rescheduled for today at 2 P.M. After the service, there was a gathering of her friends and family with lots of delicious food and fellowship at a local lodge. I had never met her father, until this afternoon. He was very pleasant, as was his current wife and his wife's mother. I was very tired though when I finally got home and my back was objecting since I stayed to help clean up the lodge building. The house was cool, so I fired up the pellet stove and had a glass of wine. Now I'm feeling much better. I have to get up early again tomorrow though because we are scheduled to go back to the nursing home. I'm going to watch "Jeopardy" now and then go to bed early. I hope you are having a great weekend.
