"I Wish I Were Covered in White Fur, I'd Purr Too"

As I am always the first to wake up and start my day on our weekends off, I started a load of laundry and headed for the kitchen for coffee! My hubby was still snoring away.
I went into the bedroom to grab a blanket to toss in the washer for the second load and found him to finally be awake. The white kitty lay next to him on her back with her legs flopped to the side. He was stroking her lovely white fur and giving her a massage.
Yeah, I'll admit, I was a little jealous. All I could think was that I wish I had white fur, maybe I would get a nice massage too. Heck, I'd even purr!
And there ya have it. My first of three posts that I thought of earlier.

When I was married I rarely got a massage. What is up with that? Fur or no fur.

Before we were married it was a given that if either of us was achy from a day's work, a massage was given. Now I am lucky if I get a couple of minutes. Of course I no longer worry about giving him one either. LOL

She is spoiled and she knows it too. Hubby brought her home as a kitten. Rescued her from her owner who wanted to bring her to the shelter.

He does love our cats. I am grateful for that. Our older cat is ailing and she is his favorite.

@Tampa_girl7 my husband loves dogs and would have a dozen if we could have them where we live. But, he loves our cats too. He is good with animals in general. He worked with farm animals since he was a child.

@ElusiveButterfly when I first met my husband he wasn't even a cat person. At least that is what he told me. I found out a year later that he was actually quite taken by our first kitty.

I understand why you would be a bit jealous! You should definitely get more massage's than the cat.
