Water is very essential for us to survive, its an element in our ecosystems, foundation of our livelihoods and has a cultural meaning. Water is so precious.

The water company notified us that they'd turn the water off for a day before and we had a chance to prepare some water in buckets - even that was hard enough already...

We're going through the same thing since sometime last night. I needed to go to the bathroom 2hrs ago but i couldn't. I took out a cup of water from the fridge to boil and make tea. We can't cook dinner yet and i haven't eaten since i woke up. Water is more than precious in my life right now.

There's a problem with the water system that comes to our area. Apparently these guys are saying that they are fixing we give them time... I wonder how much longer are we going to stay without water.

Have had two or three days without water too and they did not tell us on time that it would be cut off they just did it and that was it and no telling us when they might put it back on. Lucky for us they did. But now the water is almost white like chalk and tastes awful it will be like that for a while till it settles again.

Living without water is impossible. We need it for so many things! How are you handling this?

That's tough. I can live without electricity for a bit but no water? No way!

I used to be in the same situation with you when our water pump broke down. Had to go round to my parents everyday with some empty plastic bottles to store the water. We eventually got the pump working, and now we have water. Just stay positive, imagine having the water, and the water will come to you.
