It Was A Delightful Coincidence

Yesterday we finally go to go to the indoor pool at our resort. There are 5 outdoor pools but they are not heated so we only have one option. We decided to go at 8 p.m. figuring it would be less crowded. We were right, there was one couple in the pool and one woman who walked in at the same time as us. It is a very nice pool and we started walking laps. Very shortly a group of four came into the pool area and they started talking with my husband. Within minutes we realized it was the couple who had rented the house next to our last year. We had talked several times and they had told us they didn't intend to buy at Oak Run, they wanted more land. It seems they changed their mind and bought a home in neighborhood 6 which is where our friend Bob lives, we are in neighborhood 2. It was like old home day and Diane and I were talking about the schedule for the exercise classes. The woman who had walked in with us is a veteran of these classes and she and I started talking. Her name is Maggie and I think I have made a new friend. We decided to visit the pool very spur of the moment but it turned out to have been the perfect time to visit. We not only met old friends, I made a new friend and we even got to do a lot of exercise. We probably won't need to drive all the way to the YMCA, doing exercises here in the evening will be a great way to socialize and to get our workout in.
