In Contrast

Yesterday I wrote a post about my grandson and the hell his mom and I went through trying to get him to take his evening meds. It was horrific and I hate for her and I to have to go there at times with him. He can be so very obstinate and argumentative at time with an anger thrown in that is scary. He is a big boy! Towers over us and is a wide individual. So he can also be very intimidating. But, this evening he came in my room and we had a very nice long talk. He was respectful, calm and open minded. Which is very nice for him. What a contrast to yesterday. He can be such a good hearted, sweet boy when he wants to be. Very intelligent too. It's like living with two different people. Which is the same for my daughter. From her manic, self involved personality to the sweet, caring depressed personality is like night and day.

All you can do is not sress out and try to talk him into doing things that he should like taking his meds.

That is very true BUT, it gets very frustrating when he cops an attitude.

It's good that he can also be nice and caring. Maybe he just needs somebody to talk to..
