Would you rather now how you'll die or when you'll die?

I think this is a very interesting question , either way it benefits you in way .If you chose when then you will know how much time you have left on this planet but if you chose how then you will know if your death will be painless caused by natural causes , dying from a disease or maybe getting murdered . But i think if you know how will you die then you can change the outcome of the situation and maybe survive a couple of more years maybe decades .
But that is just my opinion what is yours ?

I think it would be really nerve wracking to know when you'd die because you'd fret about doing as much as you can to "live a full life" before the date approaches, so I'd rather know how.

@_Koko_ I didn't know if that was part of the hypothetical scenario. Could create a universe-destroying paradox (if you know how you're going to die, but you use that knowledge to prevent it then you don't actually know how you're going to die)
That could be an interesting fictional story idea actually.

Best suggestion I can give is to keep away from any Prophecy......It will kill your today........
