I had a horrible nightmare last night that my mother drowned

My mother is in Florida for awhile. My dad took her down on the 13th and I haven't heard from either one until two days ago my father texted me to tell me he is back here and wants to take the kids and I to the movies. I am not sure how long my mother is going to be there but at least until February I know. I had a horrible nightmare last night. She was by a railing and leaned over a little to point to something and she fell in. In the dream she was at the river here (not Florida) and when she fell in she went into hypothermia and went under. Two people jumped in to save her but as they were trying to grab her hair she was going further and further under. They had to dredge the river to find her remains. It was such an awful dream. I am going to wait until 9 am and text her telling her to be careful just in case. I attached a photo of our chia pet troll as I figured as disgusting as it looks it goes along good with a nightmare post lol.

I hate nightmare's like that, especially when they feel real. I hope your mother is okay.

I texted her about 9 am and she is good. My dreams don't always come true but they have often enough I felt warning her was a good idea.

Sorry to hear about your dream. Yeah I say text your mom and tell her be careful for sure. The chia pet looks cool never saw one before once it has grown.

I did text my mother and she is okay and warned about my dream. Up until this point the chia pet looked so gross I gagged every time I looked at it lol.

@shaggin Is the gagging part passed now? I bet your mom felt good you thought of her even if the dream was scary like this

It's really a bad dream. What are those seeds or sprouts on the pet troll? It looks scary

@averygirl72 Just decoration. I am wondering if I grow it out though if I can dry it and make tea.

They are chia seeds. You soak them in water until they get this globby clear slime around them then you spread them on the troll. It looks so gross. As they start to sprout it looks even more gross. At this point I can stand to look at it without gagging. I was not expecting it to be so gross.

This is a terrible nightmare. I bought a chia pet troll years ago and I have always been unable to make the chia seeds sprout.

You have to keep putting water in it so they will. It evaporates so fast so the bottom is growing much better then the top.

Don't worry, it is just a dream. In fact last night I also had a nightmare. I dreamed that my teeth were falling down

I have nightmares about my teeth falling out all the time. I grind my teeth in my sleep so I have to wear a bite guard. It is usually when I forget to wear it that I have the nightmares about my teeth falling out like a subconcious thing.

I did text her yesterday and she is doing well and enjoying her time in Florida. At least she is warned of my dream so she will careful around the water.

Were you in stress before you went to sleep? that must have been the reason.

Not that I recall. It is likely that since I have not heard from her since she left for Florida that I was subconciously worrying and it caused this nightmare.

Luckily I rarely have nightmares but this one sounds very distressing. Some can be very 'real' can't they?

What a terrible dream. I hate when I have dreams like that about my family. It really shakes you up. I think it is a good idea to give her a call. It will help ease your mind too. That is a cute chia pet troll.

The nightmare made me quite nervous. I don't think it would have made me so nervous if she was home but she is very far away in Florida.

How scary! And with dreams, even though we know it's not real, we are still left with residual feelings from it. I think we all have worries when family members are away.

Yes and she is so far away it would be very hard or impossible financially for me to go there if something bad did happen.
