J asked me to tell him why I wanted to move. It was the first time he ever asked me that. I said honestly I don't want to move. I love my home I just want to live alone. He said your moving just to be alone. I said as long as I am sick kay will feel that I need her. But she is the reason I am sick. I would prefer having a nurse then her. I then told him that one reason I don't want to move is that I would lose my gym membership. Which is pretty darn good and free. I am waiting now on my bathing suit and lock so I can go register. I also told him I know I will not find a nice unit like I have ow and this size as well. There is a lot of junk units out there. I did not get any feedback so I am not sure what he thinks. Other then him saying I am not responsible for the adults.

I'm concerned that if you move to get away from your daughter, she will just pack up and follow you.

That is what my mom is feeling as well. I am not going to let that happen. I was looking over an hour away she will not leave her husband to follow me.

@sharon6345 Will they wind up staying in your current unit, or will they have to find a place of their own once you leave?

You were saying you were going to be moving because the rent would be more at one point too.

If you don't want to move, then don't move! Get rid of your daughter and her husband. They are adults and responsible for themselves. It is time for them to grow up, get jobs, and support themselves.

The husband has a decent job. he just can't afford the Ny rent without kay working. So she is looking for a job now.

@NJChicaa That is why Jay wants to find something he can afford. which as you know the rents here are too high. He can't do it alone.

@sharon6345 It should have been your daughter who should have moved out. Hope everything works out.
