I do not know why but I felt like Sunday today

Sunday in our household is different which means no working in the garden or elsewhere. I give myself a holiday. So I was in a way happy that today I will be lazing around and suddenly it dawned on me that i was in dreamland and all those chores that i do on a Friday loomed large in front of my eyes. So do you have a lazing day too?

I would like to have a lazing day during the week, but my missus doesn't know how to relax and take it easy. She feels like she has to be doing something all the time, which would be okay except she feels like I should be doing something all the time, too.

Surely there are lessons on how to spend a day doing nothing - you being a teacher?

I don't really have a lazing day. Saturday my kids and I usually go out and get groceries and do things like the movies etc. Sunday I catch up on my cleaning and anything else I didn't have time for during the week.

@allknowing I agree with your boss. If we never recharge our bodies by resting we can get pretty run down.

As my boss once told me that lazing is necessary to fuel up one's system

Friday is a day for my terrace garden. Poor plants would have been neglected.

We don't work too hard any day of the week now we're retired. We have a pretty easy life really.

Sundays are generally considered the relaxing day , when i normally sleep until 9 am. After I get up, I would go out and about working out or going shopping with my friends .

You do a bit of lazing and this is required for our system, but I suppose you remembered on which day to do it (lol)
