Help with Brand Name of Socks

Does anyone know what the brand name of athletic socks that are soft and thick, fit well and are not too tight around the ankle and lower leg, is? All I know is that it starts with an A. They are thicker and softer than Hanes, fit just as well or better in the toe box and, most importantly, are not too tight on the ankles and lower legs. They stay up just as well but do not leave the deep marks on the legs.
