Did anyone here watch the inauguration of President Trump?

I was saddened by the show of opposition and violence in Washington by so called demonstrators. Not all of them were violent, for the most part, but they wore masks, to hide their identities as to say they were willing to break the law and do vandalistic acts for permanent digital recordings by passersby and casual t.v. viewers all over this country. The thing that made me sad and still does at this moment was the blatant violent destruction of those Starbucks ground floor windows! I love to go to Starbucks and I only hope they prosecute those ones who did this to the fullest extent of the law. We really need to get united again, not turn this country into an anarchy. Such behavior can ruin it for the Democratic party next election in another 4 years as being labeled poor losers. Get the full speech from Donald J Trump, the president of the United States of America for the next 4 years:

@TheInvisibleMan The public ate it up but I know what you mean. I think about all politicians have ways about telling things one way and doing a 180. One example was the message the former president gave America, about returning all of the troops back home from Iraq and Afghanistan. It's like Osama meant well at first but he had to deal with the cards they delt him once he took office and he had to do a 180 with the war.

@lookatdesktop @NJChicaa I have to admit that he is kinda good using the words, but... For me, it's all fake.

I listened on the radio to it but also recorded it on TV so I could watch the swearing in and the acceptance speech. He certainly make an inspiring speech and I don't see how anyone listening to it could fail to find it a uniting influence. I have high hopes for this man, and I hope my confidence will be justified. As for the dirtbags destroying property and hurting people and police horses, I hope they get what's coming to them. Horrid people, juvenile, sore losers. You didn't see conservatives act like that at Mr. Obama's two inaugurations. No, we just sighed, knew we were beaten, and prepared to get through the next four years.

Yes, the president's speech was very encouraging and holds much promise for Americans. But maybe not so much for illegals.

I watched it and it was awesome! I pray that President Trump will make the right decisions and that God will protect him. And concerning the protesters, I am offended by them but I tried to ignore news about them.

I will do the same, that is, ignore the news about the protesters. They get way too much coverage and really this only encourages more protesting.

Yes I watched the inauguration & was also disappointed that people feel the need to be distructive when they disagree with something. I'm all in favor of protesting but it's senseless when innocent people suffer from riots & property dsmage

@lookatdesktop Haha! I've seen only a few scenes about that movie horror, and I find it all ridiculous.

Unfortunately I did not get to watch! I had to work. I am a teacher so I really couldn't just turn on the tv. I tried to watch during prep but the live feed wouldn't load :(

@Lasckos2 Now I imagine that site from CNN news online might archive his speech but it may be time sensitive. I also figure YouTube might have several recordings of his inaugural acceptance speech also.

There was an inauguration today? Why am I always the last to find out about these things?

I like Trump but I did not like Obama, but I acted like an adult and accepted the president that was voted in, if everyone who disliked Obama protested there would have been war. I did not get to watch because I was at work.

I did not watch it, but I agree with you, the violence is senseless and sends the wrong message.

It is very dangerous country such America is to be turned into an anarchy. I see via media police hardly manage to rule the protest situation.

Although I am not American, I agree with you.
